As I write this page, Kizmit lays under the desk by my feet. He has transformed from a dog that barely wanted to be in the same room with me, to one that only wants to be constantly by my side. He slumbers, happily draped over my right foot and snoring so intensely that my leg is vibrating with each inward breath he takes. If I am honest, I will confess my foot is asleep and I can feel it tingle, but having him so close is worth the discomfort. It is winter time and I have allowed his coat to grow. It is slowly becoming one with my big fuzzy slippers. If I move my toes he snores louder in annoyance.
